I have always loved watching Bugs Bunny and Looney Tunes ever since I was a kid. I used to watch with my mom all the time since most cartoons we weren't allowed to watch, but this one I was. I'm going to use a clip from one of the episodes for this project. In terms of the audio overlay, I want to make it seem cartoony too but in a different way and use different sounds that are unexpected. I want to experiment with replacing the original sound effects with noises that don't necessarily match what's happening on screen. For example, instead of using the typical cartoon sounds when someone falls or gets hit, I could use everyday sounds like a door closing, glass clinking, or something completely random. I think it would be interesting to see how much the audio changes the way people interpret the scene, especially since Looney Tunes relies so much on exaggerated sound effects and music. I still want the clip to feel playful and funny, but I also want it to feel a little weird or out of place. My goal is to take something that's really familiar to me and make it feel different just by changing what the audience hears.
